Wesley's Story

Deven Chopra was born in Mumbai and spent much of his life in Hong Kong, moving to Paris at the age of 18 to study fine art at the École des Beaux-Arts. His work is known for blurring the line between technology and art and has been selected for display at exhibitions in Paris, Shanghai, and New York.

Kayla's Story

Kayla grew up in a small town off hwy 38 at the base of the mountains. After graduating highschool she moved to Kauai for a little over a year. She then decided to move back pursue a career and moved to the town of San Clemente which became home. She studied to become a Esthetician in 2003 at Paul Mitchel SkinCare Academy. She started working in esthetics right away as she was already mentored in the field due to previously working for a Dermatologist throughout the years starting at age 16. She then went on to take Nursing courses. While waiting to get in a nursing program which she was accepted faster then she thought but at a school farther then desired. So she decided to go on and finish a Bachelor Degree in Business Management. To this day she has 1 year left in a accelerated program to finish her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Today, she is collaborated with Newport Dermatology Institute as a Clinical Esthetician, also has a private clientele, and pursuing entrepreneurial endeavors.

Our Relationship

We met in Laguna, Beach August 2016, at Wes sister Jade's 30th Birthday. Around three weeks later Wes contacted Kayla to hang out and so we went to a movie on monday September 12th, 2016 at the Cinepolis. The movie ended but the deep connection taking place was just the beginning to Forever Soulmates together. This night was a movie in itself as we got locked in the Cinepolis until 4ish in the morning. Wes made a fort for us and we cuddled up enjoying each others company while sharing with each other stories for hours. Then a maid arrived and we exited without alarms and both of us had the biggest smiles on our faces. Fast forward to February 14th, 2018 on a trip to Las Gaviota, Mexico we got engaged and now we are getting married a little over 2 years later September 22nd, 2018. 

We hit it off immediately, bonding over our love of Gauguin and jazz. We had a magical time together in France during Anya's first year at grad school, and we both knew it was time. We were engaged in March 2014, and now we're getting married!
